As part of on-going water quality initiatives, ODNR has committed to fix 1,200 feet of the Feeder Channel, a main artery for water and, unfortunately, sediment and harmful nutrients that feed algae blooms.
The Buckeye Lake Region Corporation (BLRC) has applied for a Capital grant to fix another 4-5,000 feet of the Channel. Our goal is to continue doing this year after year, until all the necessary work is completed. This will help raise the water quality and overall health of Buckeye Lake.
